Climate predictions made by climate scientists are never wrong and never have been. Even kids whom don't go to school can make accurate predictions about global warming

His prediction wasn't that the Maldives would be flooded in 10 years though lol.
His prediction was that if our beautiful Earth would still be heating up in 10 years sea level rise is inevitable (they did rise at a rate of 3.3mm a year average since '93 and at an even higher rate now ) and that the greenhouse effect would potentially be beyond human control.
He also said that in 30 years the earth would rise with 1 to 7 f°, which it has.

I don't recall any nations being wiped off the face of the earth in the last 20 years ?

But perhaps this is because we did take corrective action? I remember hearing about global warming in the '90s in school so the meme did catch on in the years after the article.

dude, read the posts just previous to yours -- the flooding wasn't meant to be immediate: it would follow within 100-150 years or some shit.
also, journalists tend to lead with the worst case scenario of the time. you have to read more to understand that scientists deal in probabilities and ranges.

Have you not noticed that none of the predictions are accurate?

well they have tended to underestimate the speed and amount of change, so if anything, they've been too cautious, so how is that jibing with your intent here?

Why would you say that in a topic about a climate change prediction thats already come true?
