Bees are a MUST for any crop farm now.
They pollinate the crops so they essentially serve as a living bonemeal.

Bees? You find them in bee nests that spawn in certain forests near flowers. You need to craft a campfire and place it underneath it so the bees don’t own you. You could harvest the bee nests themselves if you have a silk touch pickaxe but given how bee hives are so cheap to make you might as well take your shears and right click on the bee nest which will drop 3 honeycomb. Combine this with 6 wood planks and you have a bee hive.
Remember you will need a campfire underneath it or else the bees will gang up on you. This allows you to collect honey using empty bottles or honeycomb from the shears.
