Pictures of this blood-red pool circulated online in fishing forums and caught the notice of Indiana preacher Paul Begley, who said in a YouTube video that the lake might be evidence of the apocalypse as predicted by the Biblical book of Revelation.

As someone who once lived in Texas, I can say yeah, that pretty much sums up how retarded Texans can be.

The Texas board of education tried to get creationism in the schools and were demolished in the courts. It's hilarious that they even try. They did get to rewrite a lot of history recently though. It may seem like no big deal, but the standards Texas sets decides what textbooks are available for many schools. This was especially troubling given that california's debt was goin to keep it from buying new text books for a few years. They're the other state that has a lot of pull.
I think CA decided against that though shortly after this. Texas put a lot of crazy shit in their new standards. Theyre so fucking crazy.
