I have noticed that some people seem to enjoy leaving lots of random objects in their cars, but I have never seen the appeal of doing this. I remove all unnecessary items from the car's interior when I get home.

I keep some basic supplies in there (water, a snack, sunglasses, dog leash and bowl, duct tape, a knife with window breaker and seatbelt cutter, toilet paper, bug spray) but they're all neatly tucked away in the storage space under the seat or in the glovebox. When i was driving to work I kept spare clothes and work shit in there.

Don't drive much but when I did I wouldn't have much in the car besides water, registration/insurance info, a first aid kit, and some winter maintainence stuff like an ice scraper etc.

Also a bunch of trash because I never clean the car out.

It's actually a clever theft deterrent. Automotive aposematism. No one's going to break into a car that looks like a pack of feral crackheads live in it.

Hah. Mine looked fairly innocuous, definitely old and cheap tho. A few dents and a fair amount of rust.
God it handled so fucking badly. I thought it was just because it was big, but then I rented a moving van that handled like a dream so it's just cause it was a piece of shit.

I am very pleased with this topic so far. Mostly only essential items being kept in cars. Except, I simply cannot respect Meta as much as I used to, with the revelation that he allows his car to be overtaken with trash. He is exactly the kind of person that I made this thread to identify.
