There is a lot of things about the Muslim religion that I respect.
Ramadan being one of those things since that is something that I think most of humanity should learn lessons from. It encourages you not to be a shithead of a human being and the fasting for a month, which most intermittent fasting plans differ, allows for the privileged to experience what starvation is like in a safe manner. Keep in mind they only fast from sunrise to sundown. They break fast in the nighttime.
I admire their belief that God knows all about you so that if you keep your intentions good then he knows without you ever having to beg for forgiveness. Essentially one should assume that God would forgive you for your sins and for you to continue on being the best human you can possibly be.
I admire the focus on charity.
I like how Jesus (PBUH) is a massive figure in the religion and is mentioned just as much if not more than Muhammad (PBUH).
The only reason why I never converted to the faith is because I don't think I'd make a good Muslim due to my spiteful, selfish ways.

The use of suicide bombs are by smaller terrorist sects that don't speak for the religion as a whole. There are Muslim groups who are fed up with the bullshit as well. If you judge an entire religion and cultures based on one tiny group then you only prove yourself to be an uneducated savage. T.hanks.
