No, of course not. Not only would that help to spread it and put others at risk, but it would be a bit petty to wish a horrible disease on him just because of stuff he's said on Minichan.
Also, he does believe in the virus and recognises that it's dangerous. So there wouldn't even be the small benefit with when deniers get it and recover, which makes them reconsider their erroneous beliefs.

Also, I find it mildly interesting that he's taking the virus seriously, while some of our other far-right posters have gone the route of downplaying and dismissing the danger of it.
If I had to guess, I'd put this down to him relying on more mainstream news sources (like Fox News), rather than the fringe, conspiracy theorist sources that are casting doubt on the pandemic.

I agree completely. It is a little baffling, but I'm glad he takes it seriously.
What confuses me, though, is his unwillingness to wear a mask. It's such an easy thing to do that helps protect the wearer and everyone around them. I would like to understand his thought process. He takes the virus seriously the doesn't want to take this simple measure to avoid catching/spreading it?
I've asked him several times 1 but he has never responded. I really want to know.

The immediate purpose of the vaccine - hell, the purpose of most of anti-covid measures - isn't to completely eliminate the virus, it's to slow the spread so our hospitals and doctors don't get overwhelmed. So that people can access treatment. That's what it means when people talk about "flattening the curve".
