Topic: Has anyone here ever heard of prison Minecraft servers?

They're servers where the focus of the game has changed. The focus is to make money and the way you make money is by mining in dedicated "cell blocks" that regenerate themselves after some time. Most servers have plots installed so you're entitled to at least one patch of land to do with as you please. There are some aspects or materials that you are restricted from but somehow you're able to acquire. So there is a sort of prison hierarchy to these servers when someone has something that you don't. It's not a prison roleplay scenario since the "prisons" aren't actually managed and maintained like an actual penitentiary, but it does give off the feeling as if you're imprisoned. This is one such server type that I have encountered in my time playing this game that seem weird yet somehow satisfying.

These servers have always looked interesting to me, but I've never played on them. I prefer the traditional open-world setting.

Most imageboards that gather any traction get invaded by three letter agency cronies. Tinychan has three letter agency jannies and moderators.
