Food deserts are a real problem, where convenience stores are the only place to buy your groceries. My closest grocery store is a km away, many people find it much easier to buy day-to-day groceries from the dep.

What if one's dep is closed?

Yes, that's different. I'm mainly referring to people who live in town, yet go to the convenience store to buy a shit ton food and beer at severe markup.

@1,145,243 (C)
Deps close at 11 and open at 7 (ie beer hours) except for the occasional 24 hour one.

Ah i c. I used to live across from a 24 hour grocery store, I miss that.

I've done for like <$30 worth of stuff if I dont feel like walking all the way to the grocery store. I'd never spend more than that though. It is convenient to go to the...convenience store after all.
