I'm not sure why it took me forever to get this game, but it is sort of easy to get into where as other games such as Planet Coaster overwhelm you think that in order to create a masterful amusement park you have to have patience and be a Disney imagineer. I honestly think this game might be a little bit better than the original RollerCoaster Tycoon 1 and 2 games even though I think the ride selection on those games were more varied. This is like a proper sequel, a RollerCoaster Tycoon 3 if it stuck with the isometric style of gameplay. Not that there was anything with the third title in the franchise and because of that we have the new Planet Coaster game. The aesthetics of this game are a bit focused on solid colors but I think this is a design choice allowing for players to add their own details and depth to their builds.

Haven’t played any of those games myself. Though I did enjoy a similar game named Zoo Tycoon from 2001 that I used to play as a kid. It came included with the computer I got for my 12th birthday. Many many hours of joy with Zoo Tycoon ?
Anyways, I saw your post and remembered this video on YouTube I saw a while back about Planet Coaster, a decently good video titled “I built a Theme Park of Perpetual Torment in Planet Coaster”. Watch it here: https://youtu.be/BvEKky9N1tQ

I greatly enjoyed Zoo Tycoon also. The Planet Coaster team has also made a Planet Zoo, but I haven’t tried it so I’m unable to recommend it as yet

I wish those two games were connected so you could make a Busch Gardens.

This is a park that I created when messing around in the scenario editor so I could adjust the size and have access to outside the boundaries. The story behind this amusement park is that a family in the United Kingdom during the course of the coronavirus epidemic saw profit in a potential mini park for their close friends and family who have been adhering to all of the new guidelines such as physical distancing and face masks. He wanted to ensure that his family and friends could still enjoy the luxury that amusement parks could bring. It was initially closed to the public until the guidelines were loosing up and he opened up the park as well as his residence to the public. Over the next couple of years as the epidemic died down he continued to renovate and expand with new attractions as well as new shops. In fact, a family member opened up their first pizza parlor with only outdoor seating in case of another epidemic. Before long others began to copy the idea and soon the world was introduced to the popularity of private amusement parks that even the larger corporations such as Disney and Universal started to worry. The first to gain major attention was the Poolside Park.
