You know an oven and stove top are still legitimate cooking appliances, right?
I'm going to say slow cooker for this one, but still, there's nothing wrong with using a stove top and oven.

Yeah. A stove with a frying pan, and dutch oven or stock pot.

Slow cooker is a good 2nd, tho. Makes cooking beans super easy.

You can just set it, and let it go. Literally anybody has time for it.

Those are like a dishwasher but hot and dry instead of hot and wet, right?

This topic would have been funnier if it was meme appliances like Instant Pots and air fryers and George Foreman grills

I actually own one! It's pretty good for some things.

My favorite appliances are the ones where you can put food in, then go sit down and relax and then your food is cooked with no further intervention on your part.

Yes. They can also get wet, but the liquid burns up and sticks to the bottom.

For a while all I had was a panini press type thing (maybe they're countertop grills? Idk) and a toaster oven. Those panini presses are surprisingly versatile.

Hotplate. Also you can cook in a mug with hot kettle water (Pot Noodles, porridge, couscous etc).

I doubt anyone here has tried cooking food in a dishwasher so maybe that is the best appliance but we are too afraid to use it to its full potential.

I mean, you could probably steam food in it. Perfect for steamed hams.

Why do you think "bun in the oven" is a euphemism for pregnancy?
