Throw him under the bus, of course!

Wait, you're seriously holding up the guy (Fauci) who said Coronavirus "is not a major threat", who said "people should not be walking around with masks" as a hero now???

If you think the guy downplaying the risk of Covid and telling people not to wear masks is a "top pandemic expert" then I don't even know what to tell you. By these standards, Trump is a "top pandemic expert" because even he never told people not to wear masks.

TDS is a hell of a drug ?

Fauci is a scientist. We know this because of the way he updates and sometimes reverses his opinion depending entirely upon the best current scientific data.

Trump is an idiot. We know this because he does not.

"Obviously, you need to take it seriously and do the kind of things the (Centers for Disease Control and Prevention) and the Department of Homeland Security is doing. But this is not a major threat to the people of the United States and this is not something that the citizens of the United States right now should be worried about."

and:

"What can you tell the American people about what’s been going on?" Catsimatidis asked. "Should they be scared?"
"I don’t think so," Fauci said. "The American people should not be worried or frightened by this. It’s a very, very low risk to the United States, but it’s something we, as public health officials, need to take very seriously."

Do you understand how science works? We have learned more about this virus, and scientists have changed their recommendations accordingly. That is how science works.

If you change your mind to accommodate new evidence, you are a weak-minded leftist and, to be completely honest, most likely a beta cuck. Thanks.

Yes scientists indeed. The virus predictions are as accurate as the global warming predictions

almost always after a pandemic, a lethality rate is recalculated to be higher then previous estimates

Its interesting how science and religion plays in politics. Like historically, the leftists have hated religions and juxtaposed it towards science. Yet you also see leftists being anti science in the sense that they can and do take
issues with it in certain circles, like, outright claiming it to be deceptive in its nature. Likewise you also see a lot of rightists hailing science as some kind of god that can do nothing wrong, while the fedora guys often would be
those guys as they attacked all religions with no bigger insight except that religion requires faith and belief in it. Strangely, i saw a big shift in those typical youtube atheists that hated on religion, to suddenly not bad mouth Christianity all the time and generally be quiet when it comes to religion. A smart move when most Christians aren't exactly fans of most leftist ideas. In poland, it is apparently so that the hardcore rightists are also hardcore Catholics, and nationalists too.
