Well presumably it would go similar to this.
> The Oklahoma treaty contemplated that the reservation land could be subject to patents, where the federal government makes a particular property available for sale. The feds patented land and allotted individuals a portion of the property that was the reservation land. Eventually the Native-owned property made its way into the hands of a lot of non-Native people. As a result (simplified), people claimed the reservations were extinguished. The Court held that to extinguish a reservation, Congress has to formally and no bullshit do it; they weren’t going to do it for them. It’s a beautiful opinion.

Really? Cause it sounds like the US government has been profiting by taxing land that they have no right to tax. How much money do you think they've made in taxes over the years? All of that money rightfully belongs to the tribes.

Wherever your ancestors originated from.

Americans of European descent can stay in America. I don’t want hundreds of millions of Americans pouring into Europe. Yuck! ?

Now that I'm actually reading the article, that quoted comment actually seems incorrect.
> certain major crimes committed within the boundaries of reservations must be prosecuted in federal court rather than state court, if a Native American is involved. > Less serious crimes involving Native Americans on American Indian land will be handled in tribal courts. This arrangement is already common in Western states like Arizona, New Mexico and Montana, said Washburn.
Old cases may be challenged and re-tried on the grounds that the court didn't have jurisdiction.
The court case didn't concern land ownership, but jurisdiction for legal matters.

that doesn't work for so many people with multiple ancestries, many aren't even English-speaking but the current people only know the Enlighs
plus, those source countries possibly don't exist anymore, or have changed drastically having transitioned out of an empire or traded from competing powers, or simply the other countries don't want you
