Like a big age gap? Some people say that age is but a number but that sounds like they'll be okay with pedophilia even if the statement is concerning consenting adults. There are others who say it's risky because the older partner might try to use their age as a means to assert dominance over the younger partner. Where does Minichan weigh in on this matter?

There is a 20 year difference between my mother and her current husband. Her biggest complaint is that he can be hard headed, and refuses to wear his hearing aid. Otherwise, he treats her just as well as my father did.

The concern is that the partner who is older/has more life experience will be able to manipulate the younger/less experienced/more naïve partner, who will go along with it because "they're older and so they know better"
