I finally got around to playing both Mass Effect and Mass Effect 2 and I plan on getting Mass Effect 3 when it comes out. I'd very much prefer to preorder it on Amazon with release date delivery. I also generally buy special/limited/collector's editions of games I really like. ME3's Collector's Edition is $80 compared to $60 for the standard edition. I really want to buy it, but I'm not sure if the extra goodies are even worth another $20. Also, look at what the Collector's Edition of Mass Effect 2 is selling for on Ebay, around $30-45. It's very likely that ME3 will lower in value in much the same way, making me wonder if getting it launch day is worth an extra $40. Help me MC, what do I do?

I bought the fallout lunch box collector edition because they were out of the standard.
Do not regret that purchase. The chick at the gamespot was cute, too. So it gave me a reason to talk to her a few more minutes. It was kind of like what a date is, I think.
