What business?
Shouldn't you invest your newfound riches to ensure stability even if your business fails in the future? Spending it all immediately on shiny toys is how people find themselves falling back in poverty

We always got a new vehicle every 2-3 years. I don't see why some of you are making a big deal of this? Buying new is basically the same as leasing now and you get a few extra perks that way too.

> Because a website that's not updated definitely means 100% that a business is not open.
When your business is in an industry that relies on online orders and communication then it definitely means 100% that a business is, at best, very poorly run and, yes, in your case, at worst, not open.

As soon as you drive a new car off the lot it loses 20-30% of its value. Someone who's just started making a lot of money and spends like that will likely find themselves broke again. Especially in the food business.
@1,141,643 (E)
I'm just curious! None of your previous business ventures have been successful, I'm wondering which one finally made it. Or did you somehow manage to get some investors and spent all their money on shiny new toys? The food truck obviously hasn't panned out.

So your marketing strategy is to tell everyone your business isn't working yet? This is very likely why you keep failing and are impoverished at the age of almost 50.

If you want to drive a nice car, without the worried of repair, maintenance and have road side assistance plus a car to drive while yours is repaired then a new car or lease is the only way to go. If you buy and trade off after 2-3 years that 20 or 30% is nothing and you end back with a new vehicle with all the perks again. The depreciation value makes up with the new car warranty. I assume most of the posters here have never owned a new vehicle and if that is the case I would not expect you to understand this. But buying a used vehicle out of warranty is not a good choice. Unless you are very rich or just drive a piece of shit vehicle you are going to have a car payment so you are better off making payments on something new that has a warranty. And all new vehicles comes with bumper to bumper 36,000 miles 36 month warranty. And if you want you can get them up to 48,000 48 month but that is really senseless as you should trade it back before that. Best to work with the interest rate.

CAA provides road-side assistance for $8/month, and insurance provides you with a vehicle to drive while yours is repaired.
Idk, my dad advised me to avoid leases. And in general I'm far too nervous to want a new vehicle. I'm perfectly happy with mine, it runs well and still looks good, didn't cost much, and is all mine. There's something to be said for the psychological effect of owning something outright.

You are just missing the point. Your 8 dollar roadside assistance will come and give you a jump if the battery is dead or change a tire if it is flat. But what happens if your car won't start and the guy who comes out says I don't know what's wrong. Then what happens? I'll tell you. He will tow it to a garage of your choice. If it is over 10 miles make sure you have your checkbook or debt card handy. Once at the garage get ready for an upfront diagnostic test which around here is $89 to find out the problem. Lets say it is the fuel pump or any number of minor repairs to get you back on the road...your car won't leave that garage without a bill under $500 and it will probably take them a day or so to get the part and another day to get to work on it. So to get to work you can walk, ride a bus, call a friend or maybe call your insurance company and tell them to pay for you a rent a car for a couple of days...I'm sure they will accommodate you lol
With a new car or lease from the dealership they will send a truck out. If it can't be started there. they will put it on the trailer and takes you and you car to the dealership and you will get out, get in to your rent a car and go on to work with no worries. Once your car is repaired you drive by, drop off the loaner, sign a few papers, keep your checkbook or debt card in your pocket and get in your car and go home..the only thing you are out is missing a few hours of work on the day of breakdown. So sometimes people prefer this peace of mind and the comfort of driving a new car instead of making payments on a used one to where there is no security. If you are going to have payments might as well get something new OR sometimes you can get the same perks with their rentals or loaner cars and at a cheaper price and still have an almost new car with only 10,000 miles on them.

Option one: you set up a website, spent time and effort writing its ludicrous pages, and have been paying money to keep it up all this time...to "trick" people into thinking you're not a complete failure.
Option two: you're a complete failure.
Shall we put it to a vote?
