Once you take into account the narrow view of the Chinese government and their opinions on who is actually a person in their eyes, they're quite liberal. Do you guys not pay attention to China? I'll admit their implementation is surely a bastardization of liberalism, but from the standpoint of the Chinese, it's a very accurate description of their actions. The party is all that matters, so any "human rights" that belong to anyone outside the party aren't valid.
