Walter is lying about this, by the way. NHS waiting times have gone up by average, due to several government cuts to the public sector and a rising population, but he seems to have invented that 26 weeks figure. Some actual numbers I found:

It's also worth noting that the Conservative party has never really had its heart in the NHS, and perhaps dreams of privatising it.

Anyway! I will definitely take a free healthcare system, even if it's going through a tough time, over a system where hospitals become callous businesses there to squeeze money out you.
The imaginary 26 weeks figure is still a better number than the 25% of Americans who decided not to go to hospital for a serious illness.
