I haven't figured it out yet.
I think they're wrens. I'm going to take a pic of mama or daddy.
Drat... they sit close by on a wire but it's not close enough to get a pic of. They are small, about as big as a salt shaker.

I just had 'wrens' in mind for no good reason. It appears they are Finches.

Yeah, with birds the females are usually pretty drab-looking/well-camouflaged while the male looks super flashy haha.
