The world would be a lot better off if WW1 and WW2 never happened because the lives lost and money spent on those wars would have gone to something actually productive and useful instead.
At the same time, despite us not knowing if what you said is true but let's assume, we wouldn't exist without it. That's a fact that is hard to consider because what does that fact mean, that we owe the wars something?
