You can't drink it neat (95%) so it's always felt like a waste of time to me (unless you're desperately trying to get the highest ABV for the lowest price per ml...). Or you want to make, like, punch.

Cut my dog's nails on one paw. She wore a glove on that paw for like over a month 'cause she ripped out a nail so the remaining claws got suuuuper long.
She hates getting her paws touched at all, and hates getting her nails clipped (I'm good about it, I don't go near the quick). My boyfriend laid on top of her and put her in a headlock, we muzzled her, and she still managed to get out from under him. She yelped like we were killing her and now is licking her paw like it's hurt/bleeding (I checked, it isnt). Fucking what an ordeal. Now she's semi-sulking.

Update: I had to reload an earlier save. My idiot AI ally trapped me in an eternal war, and then an endgame crisis spawned in my borders.
The new save is going much better, though! A revitalised alloy industry has allowed for a much stronger fleet, and a journey into a psychic realm ended with my leader becoming an immortal demi-god. Also, I gave the space elves full rights in my empire.
This game is pretty great.

Fun times in Stellaris. My empire is going through a robot uprising. My navy will crush them easily, but it will take a while, and then I'll have to deal with a massive economic clean-up. Some citizens were also forcibly made into cyborgs by the robots, but that is actually beneficial for me when I retake the planets.
...And during this war, for some reason, the immortal Emperor of my empire felt it was the right time to create a political faction advocating for AI, which I had immediately outlawed after the uprising. While he is a powerful psychic and immortal, I may have to find a way to get rid of him for that foolishness.

I like that it's so cheap and old that dents and bruises don't bother me. I worry about it shitting out on me while im getting to work but i have CAA (like AAA) and will get it to a mechanic asap.

Luckily driving school is mandatory in Quebec, so I had 16 hours of on-the-road practice before getting my probationary license (4 demerit points vs 15 and 0.00 BAC limit vs 0.08 are the differences), which also makes insurance much cheaper. Unfortunately, the cars they use at driving schools are dinky as fuck, barely bigger than smart cars, so that didn't help all that much. And yeah, i have everything you could need in there :)

I was supposed to have a phone appointment with a psychiatrist at 10am. It is now 10.34am and they have not called. Wtf.

So that means two things. One, he clearly uses this forum. Two, he went to high school in the 2050s and is actually -20 years old or so. That's pretty cool.

Whoops, I meant the 60s. That is pretty cool!
He told me I might be able to get free therapy because I had an abusive childhood. That is also cool.
Edit: I think that I am not eligible because that didn't happen in Quebec. Oh well.

Oh, well that must mean the 1960s then. Being born in the 2060s would just be an absurd proposition.
That makes sense. Any consequences of an abusive childhood end as soon as you leave the geographic area where it happened. There's no reason for that to be covered anymore.
I'm sure it's like some law or policy or whatever but that is so dumb. If you want to provide free therapy to people who have suffered child abuse...just provide free therapy to people who have suffered child abuse. Limiting it to people who happened to be abused within city limits is pointless.

Yeah, that is a bit bizarre. Not like children of abusive homes might want to get away from their families.

Can they prove it didn't happen in Quebec?

I assume so because I didn't live here when those events took place.

But did you ever live there with your family, as a child?

I'm currently looking at a $1600 2006 mazda 5 owned as a family car by a middle aged Asian dad. Checking it out tomorrow. God this is such bad timing. I'm scared that covid precautions will make it difficult to transfer the title somehow.

Wade took it in the night. He's planning on building a van village, down by the river.

it was overheating, took it in to get it checked out. mechanic says that when it's running, the coolant gets sucked into the engine and leaks. also the bottom was all rusted out and he didn't want to put it on a hoist in case the top went up but the bottom just...stayed on the ground. and because it's so rusty, taking out the radiator would mean that everything else would start to fall apart and it would just be one thing after another.
my dad said that he'll pitch some money for a new (to me) car and rent me one for next week if needed so i don't have to rush to buy one :) i'm very grateful

How sweet. :) @previous (chill dog !!81dzJNNYL)
Oh damn that sucks. I've never had to buy a used car (never owned a car) but I wonder if you can like make your purchase contingent upon getting a checkup done by a mechanic or something. Don't want to have something like this happen again.

Apparently they don't have Deliveroo or Uber Eats in Cornwall, so I shall have to get that cheeky Maccies myself, tomorrow. Quite dire stuff.
I was mildly surprised, actually. Cornwall is quite poor so I thought loads of people here would be signed up to those two mainstay gig economy jobs. Maybe we're not urbanised enough for them to be down here?
