With the recent riots and vandalism, I'm starting to see why citizens being armed for protection may not be a bad idea.

I have a tactical rifle and a pistol for that reason. Some of our grocers here have started limiting meat purchases because of supply issues!

Civil unrest, rioting, violence, maybe police will crack down too hard and lead to more burning buildings and rioting. I just want to make sure that, if it happens where I live, I can hole up at my house and shoot through the window, with my ballistic armor and ballistic helmet on. I do not want to go out and be a cowboy or anything. I just want to have a good chance to survive.

I was in army cadets for several years. We did quite a few survival- and tactical-focused field exercises. I'm certainly no expert but I'm sure it's equivalent to what you'd have learned in Boy Scouts lol.
