Fascinating insight into the utter horseshit of the 2nd Amendment, these events. Trump just stood up on the podium and specifically named the 2nd Amendment (the only Amendment he named; he's already buried the 1st after all) as what he was going to protect... as he says he's going to deploy the United States military on American soil in order to force Americans to stay off the streets after 7pm. Surely if the 2nd Amendment did what its proponents claim it's there for, the streets would be lined with thousands of dead cops and National Guardsmen right now. Instead, the President just made none-too-vague threats to American citizens about siccing their own military on them, cheered on by the very same rednecks who are paranoid about the commie libz turning America into a police state.
