The US would have invaded them to "instate democracy" by now. Prove me wrong.

The oil thing is so 2003. The US is the largest producer of oil in the world. Even when we weren't, we got mininal oil out of Iraq. We do like blowing up brown people though. Can't really argue with that.

You're right, I have adjusted the thread title accordingly.

This is true. We literally fired upon our our own people, intentionally.

Also the US is a country with both brown people and oil in it.

> If the things happening in America was happening in a country with brown people and/or oil in it...

It would be:
-proof that they need our protection.
-proof that they were too uncivilized to govern themselves and needed outside help. Even if they resisted.
-proof that they were too inferior to run their own economy and needed an economy defined by foreign interests.
-proof that a "civilized" country needed to intervene.
-proof that their government was "unstable" and a foreign power needed to intervene to "set things right" and ensure --democracy-- --peace-- a government by force if necessary.
-proof that even if a foreign power needed to sponsor a warlord in the US to secure power, that would be a just act to ensure --economic dominance-- peace for --that foreign power-- them.

Are there any more? These are all the explanations I can think of off the top of my head for the United States "intervening" in foreign governments.

Shipping oil will be a think of the past soon, just ask Craig Wright!

I would rather ask Craig Wrong! He has a much more humble name.

That is very true! I would take his word over the other Craig’s.
