Actually, one thing I will say about Syntax is that it was mildly fascinating to observe his compulsion to say that he influences and rubs shoulders with notable people. It's one thing to apply this urge to RL celebrities, but it's quite another to try it with moderators on a small and mundane forum, most of whom dislike you and can answer back. It just doesn't scale well.
