are you anti masks

no but the advice is poor. Surgical masks are meant to give some protection to patients from medical staff's germs, not to protect wearers from other people. If I'm told that a place is so fucking germy that I need protection, I don't want a god damn mask. I want a hazmat suit.

But even if a mask offers 5-10% protection, isn't that better than nothing?

Wearing a mask to stop a virus is like using a picket fence to stop mosquitos
