China moved heaven and earth to treat the corona infected amongst wuhan population but the strain was still too much and therefore the lethality rate was about 1.4%. More than a million people will die then, if only 100 million Americans get it. How bad will it get though if there's multiple wuhans within America? Much worse. Can't you see that op?

You forgot about the couple of weeks where there was no everclear. The great everclear shortage of 2020.

@OP
It's just a CYA legal disclaimer. Probably you have to through millions in clinical trials and certification before you can market a mask for infectious disease prevention.

If you are wearing a mask other than an N95 and someone next to you coughs toward your face the particles can/will travel through the mask into your mouth or nose.

> If you are wearing a mask other than an N95 and someone next to you coughs toward your face the particles can/will travel through the mask into your mouth or nose.
N95 literally just means that it filters 95% of aerosol particulate. It's not a magic number below which a mask is rendered useless. The difference in protection isn't huge between N95 respirators and surgical masks (85% vs 76% when you have particles <300 nm): Aerosol Filtration Efficiency of Common Fabrics Used in Respiratory Cloth Masks
From the same study, other coverings don't do poorly either. A well-worn (gapless) combination of cotton and natural silk is pretty fucking decent:
The results are also compared with the performance of a standard N95 mask. All three hybrid combinations performed well, exceeding 80% efficiency in the <300 nm range, and >90% in the >300 nm range. These cloth hybrids are slightly inferior to the N95 mask above 300 nm, but superior for particles smaller than 300 nm. The N95 respirators are designed and engineered to capture more than 95% of the particles that are above 300 nm, and therefore, their underperformance in filtering particles below 300 nm is not surprising.
(This study looked at even shittier materials. You get some protection from a sock.)
