Topic: Comprehensive list of MC namefags past and present

Since the last thread was lost (thanks tteh!), I'm creating another. I believe I've added some new entries to the list and, hopefully, omitted few, if any.
A few things to note: I tried to list the name a poster is most often referred to as first, even if that's not the name they post under. Matt is an example of this. After the first name on a line, I have roughly sorted a poster's aliases by usage, with the more common names listed first.
There is subjectiveness in this list, particularly the line between including a name or not; there are many names that people create and soon abandon, sometimes all within one thread. I take the view of attempting to include every name that has some amount of persistence across multiple threads and some (subjective) amount of time. This can mean some names, particularly trollsonas, are worn by multiple people, kind of like a prostitute.
To a lesser degree, there is also subjectiveness in identifying aliases as belonging to a single poster. I've taken a more conservative view and have not attempted to combine aliases that I am not sure about. This may mean some people are listed more than twice on the list.
Let me know if you find any errors or omissions.
But more importantly than that, let's reflect on those who have participated here both past and present. As the saying goes, "only speak ill of the dead". And this goes doubly true here for people who are no longer around to defend themselves from destructive criticism. So let's get on with it and begin with such criticisms!

For the record, the entry for the OP of this thread was removed by a modedit. That alias has been used across a total of 199 live posts -- more than many of the other entries. I do think, for the sake of the board's history, that it's only fair to have an accurate summary of posts that are publicly available for all to see.
Also, thanks to whichever person edited out the duplicate Meowth entry and corrected the typo in it.

Instead of just bitching, why not either edit the OP directly or, if you can't, quote the OP to get the BB code formatting, make the changes, and post a reply. Then a mod can copy the post and replace it in the OP; cutting out the reply with [...] or something to avoid the thread getting too long. The quoted "> " stuff can be removed quickly with find/replace. Next best thing to a wiki.

Not that I know of. Anyone that dedicated to going after Kimmo HAS to have posted on TC/MC or at least visited though, right?
It's disappointing how few people archived any of this. There were videos from each of the visits. The video links in the ED article are dead, and nothing useful on archive.is or the Wayback Machine. Minichan once had a shared BTSync (later Resilio) where we had a load of content like this, but the last mention of BTSync was 5 years ago so there's 0% chance anyone is still actively running that. Maybe some anon out there has a hoard.

This is another reason why I think we'd benefit from a dedicated wiki for all the two of us that still care about this shit. Some people just pass through these days. "I wonder if TC/MC still exist?" Stay for a while then disappear again. These are the people that may have an archived video or file to add to a wiki. Or maybe just an interesting story. This was a whole argument in the last topic lol. No, RaiRai was definitely a separate guy. He mostly talked about drugs, IIRC, and was friendly with Green. JoeDDM on the other hand was a furry and, towards the end, got comically uptight about his political beliefs.
Maybe JoeDDM coincidentally used RaiRai or a similar alias somewhere along the line, but I promise there was a separate RaiRai even if that was the case.

Maybe Markus deserves an entry. Although I know he never posted under that name, he's been mentioned publicly several times. And if it spills into public posts available as of today, it deserves a mention, in my view. Although Fake Anon seems to disagree, since some of the more common names that have been used over the years have vanished from the list... despite 100+ of such posts with those names remaining up...
We could eventually start adding emojis by some of the names like the prior thread. I forgot which one was used as the pedo symbol, but that'd be a nice touch to add as well. If we do, I think we should also add the trans flag 🏳️⚧️ emoji for our trans users. Kook, tteh, and you can get a 🏳️🌈 flag along with anyone else that that describes. Hmm, after skimming the list, I think a few of these are just names that ninjj used over the years. I don't think he really cares if they're known as him, so I guess I'll just amalgamate them when I have time.
Some of the names _are_ alternate names used by established users, but I only know that because I have mod permissions. I guess I'll leave those alone, to most of our users those were essentially separate posters anyway.

It was a little gesture from me. He once wrote an article once about rabbit conservation on a college campus. It was obviously his text voice, but he was quite passionately talking about preserving the rabbit habitats that the college wanted to get rid of or something.

Sounds good to me. I think another thing is that it's easier to look back positively on someone who has been gone for a while. More time to forget all the negatives and for the nostalgia to grow. Although for squeegee, I'm not so sure that will happen. Squeegee was never that interesting or entertaining of a poster even before whatever the fuck happened more recently. Not to say that this all applies to squeegee as a person, but what can I say? We can only go by what someone posts in public.
It'd almost be like if boof decided to start smoking meth and posting crazy incoherent accusations about random people here. Maybe boof is or was an intelligent and valuable human being. It's just there's no evidence of any of that. Not that lack of evidence is evidence of absence...

If memory serves, somebody else found it. I did have a brief look around, but I couldn't find it. I'll try again later if I remember, it's an interesting read. As I said, very much in his text voice, but he's advocating for animals instead of bragging about a non-existent gangster lifestyle.

Yes. One of my favourite Eco moments was when he was claiming that he was running some kind of exclusive drug den with strict rules, only for it to be revealed that his accomodation had been taken over by crackheads and he was at their mercy.
He sometimes posted pictures of these tiny handwritten notes he'd scattered around his flat with "rules" written on them, which I'm sure that his "customers" totally ignored.

It's pretty rare, but sometimes Sheila does post a little more seriously, and I think he comes across as fairly intelligent.

Surprised we've only had 3 deaths though. Nexus I remember as a coherent mod, shame what happened. Mara was a dick from what I remember on laghouls. He kept posting about his 14 year old girlfriend and we always got into arguments and he kept calling me fat, which is true but I'm still alive. In my experience with people like this, this is rarely true.
