This is a simple tool to test tripcodes for use on imageboards.
Tripcodes are a way for users on anonymous imageboards to verify their identity without registering an account. A user adds a #password to their name (e.g. John#secret), and the board software hashes the password into a unique identifier (the tripcode), which appears next to their name. This lets others recognise the same poster across multiple messages, even if they're otherwise anonymous/psuedonymous.
Note: there are a variety of tripcode implementations; results shown by this tripcode testing tool will not match 100% of imageboards/textboards/chans/forums.
Paste a name and tripcode into the box below, such as Anon#blah123 for example.
